Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Project Director (Power Generation) to lead the West Alton combined cycle project in St. Louis, MO. You will drive safety, quality, cost, schedule and risk across three CCGT units from development through commissioning.

You will oversee the owner's team, coordinate with engineers, constructors and OEMs, and ensure regulatory and business objectives are met while delivering a predictable, integrated outcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, construction management, business or related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in construction project management or execution.
• 5+ years of supervisory or senior team leadership experience.
• PMP and/or PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the West Alton CCGT project life cycle.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, schedule, scope and risk are managed.
• Direct contractors and engineer of record, constructor, and OEM.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, work packages and monitor progress.
• Coordinate cross-functional internal stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Oversee contract management and compliance with terms.
• Monitor cost forecasts, schedules and risk exposure; take corrective actions.
• Drive governance, reporting to senior leadership; support regulatory filings.
