Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Project Director (Power Generation) to lead the West Alton combined cycle project. You will own safety, quality, cost, schedule, scope and risk across all units, coordinating with engineers, constructors, and the OEM to deliver an integrated solution.

You will supervise a multi-disciplinary team, drive execution plans, and interface with regulators, ensuring alignment with Ameren’s objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required, preferably in engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant construction project management experience; leading large, complex capital projects.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience and/or high-level team leadership.
• PMP certification and/or Master’s degree preferred; PE license in Missouri preferred.
• Experience with CCGT or power generation projects in the U.S. is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture across the project lifecycle.
• Lead development and execution of the combined cycle power generation project with end-to-end accountability.
• Manage project team, ensuring clear scope, schedule, and budget.
• Direct contact with engineers, constructors, OEM, and regulatory bodies to align execution and requirements.
• Oversee contract management and administration; monitor costs and risks.
