Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Senior Specialist in Power Generation Operations & Maintenance to lead asset assessment and decommissioning projects across the US. The role emphasizes technical consulting, outage planning, and contract support within Infrastructure Advisory’s Delivery Team.

Travel up to 100% is expected to sites and clients. Ideal candidates hold 15+ years in plant engineering with experience in conventional & renewable power plants, and are licensed PE.

Qualifications

• 15+ years as a Plant Engineer with Maintenance/Operations experience
• Experience in conventional & renewable power generation
• Strong outage planning and regulatory/compliance awareness

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting on Power Generation O&M projects and EPC modifications
• Develop asset assessment and decommissioning plans with clients
• Support development of new contracts and fee estimates
• Create outage management procedures and project deliverables
• Lead reports, analyses, and quality reviews with project teams
• Travel up to 100% as needed for site assessments and inspections
