Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Specialist to deliver operations and maintenance projects for power generation assets within its Infrastructure Advisory team. The role involves evaluating conventional and renewable technologies, decommissioning planning, and working with clients and solution managers.

You will lead outage planning efforts, prepare technical reports, and contribute to contract development and fee estimates, with travel up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years related work experience on power generation assets is preferred.
• Experience with O&M processes, outages, and budgets is desirable.
• Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting on Power Generation EPC, Modifications & Upgrades, and O&M projects.
• Develop asset assessment and decommissioning project scope with clients and PMs.
• Create outage management procedures and project deliverables; manage budgets and schedules.
• Mentor team members in power generation O&M best practices.
