Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Power Generation Operations & Maintenance Specialist to deliver power generation O&M projects and asset lifecycle support within the Infrastructure Advisory team. The role focuses on evaluating conventional and renewable technologies, outage planning, and development of procedures and specifications for clients across the US.

You will work with project managers and clients, travel up to 100%, and mentor teammates while contributing to project quality and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or engineering or relevant business experience.
• Minimum of 7 years related work experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR).
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting on new and existing Power Generation EPC, Modifications & Upgrades, and O&M projects.
• Work directly with Clients and Solution Project Managers on developing asset assessment and decommissioning projects.
• Collaborate with the O&M Solution to support development of new contracts.
• Develop outage management and process procedures for clients.
• Assist in developing proposals and scopes of work, including fee estimates.
• Lead preparation of reports, presentations and other deliverables; manage budgets and schedules.
