Job summary

WSB and Associates seeks a Senior Engineering Specialist in Power Generation to lead complex civil designs, mentor staff, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams on municipal, land development, and renewable energy projects. You will develop plans using CAD/Revit, review drawings for constructability, and help drive efficiency and quality.

The role emphasizes QA, client liaison, and creation of design standards.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in municipal, land development or renewable energy engineering.
Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or CAD Design or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Proficiency with CAD/design platforms and related tools.

Responsibilities

Lead development of civil designs for diverse projects with technical excellence.
Direct preparation of drawings and construction documents for municipal and transportation projects.
Oversee plan sheets and plan sets using CAD/Revit and advanced tools.
Provide guidance to Engineers Technicians and staff to foster growth.
Serve as liaison between internal teams to ensure design alignment.
Establish and enforce quality control for constructability and compliance.
Collaborate with PMs and Engineers of Record on designs, proposals, and planning.
Represent the firm in client meetings with technical expertise.
Develop design standards, templates, and workflows to improve efficiency.
