Job summary

Williams is seeking a Staff Electrical Commissioning Project Manager focused on power to lead the commissioning and energization of generation units, substations, and electrical distribution equipment. The role requires coordinating testing, lockout/tagout, and startup activities with Operations, engineering, and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in commissioning or operations for oil/gas facilities or power plants, ABET-accredited engineering credentials, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• Minimum 15 years of related experience in operations, construction, or commissioning for oil/gas pipelines, meters, power plants, or facilities.
• Preferred: Electrical Engineering degree from ABET-accredited school with 20+ years in related commissioning roles.
• Experience commissioning power generation facilities, substations, or utility-scale electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning and startup of power generation assets including gas turbines and engine-generators.
• Develop and execute energization and switching plans per NFPA 70E and safety standards.
• Coordinate with operations, contractors, and vendors to ensure on-time commissioning milestones.
• Review design deliverables and testing plans to ensure readiness for commissioning.
