Job summary
DLB Associates is expanding its protection and control engineering services and is seeking a Senior Power Engineer – Protection & Control to support and help grow this practice. This role focuses on delivering P&C design for medium- and high-voltage substations, BESS, microgrids, and IBR interconnections across utility, renewable, data center, and industrial markets.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
- PE license in Electrical Engineering or actively pursuing is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive protection and control experience in substation, generation interconnection, or energy storage.
- Hands-on relay settings development on SEL or equivalent platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead detailed P&C design for substations, generation interconnections, BESS, microgrid, and IBR interconnections.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate P&C into complete packages.
- Develop and review relay settings and protection philosophies for utility interconnections.
- Support testing, commissioning, and field troubleshooting of protection systems.
- Prepare project design and construction documents.
- Communicate with clients and manage project delivery.
