Job summary

DLB Associates is seeking a Power Engineering Manager to lead its substation, BESS, and grid integration practice. You will oversee technical delivery, standards, and team growth, while expanding client relationships and market presence across utility, renewable, data center, and industrial sectors.

You will shape strategic direction with executive leadership, drive service line development, and manage people, processes, and performance to scale the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license required; 15+ years in power engineering with leadership.
• 15+ years of progressive power engineering experience with leadership of substation/BESS/grid projects.
• Experience managing teams and P&L in multi-project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead power engineering practice including substation design, BESS and grid integration.
• Drive business development, client relationships, proposals and contracts.
• Provide technical oversight, ensure quality, and manage resource planning and project delivery.
• Oversee safety, compliance with industry standards, and project financial performance.
• Communicate with executive leadership and external stakeholders; travel up to 20%.
