Job summary

DLB Associates is building a Power Engineering practice and seeking a Director to lead and grow this service line. You will set standards, hire, and develop the team while delivering utility-scale substation, BESS, microgrid, and grid integration projects across multiple markets.

The role reports to the Design Department Executive Director and emphasizes strategic leadership, organizational planning, and scalable engineering capabilities to advance the firm’s Power Solutions offering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• PE license in Electrical Engineering preferred or required.
• 15+ years progressive power engineering experience with leadership in substation, BESS, or grid integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Power Solutions practice, hiring, mentoring, and setting engineering standards.
• Oversee technical direction for substation, BESS, and grid interconnection projects.
• Drive business development, client relationships, and strategic growth initiatives.
