Job summary

Fresh Consulting, a design-led software and hardware engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join onsite in Sunnyvale, CA. You will lead system-level electrical work across power, batteries, and interfaces, with hands-on lab prototyping and cross-functional collaboration.

You will review PCB layouts, author specifications and test procedures, and support NPI and manufacturing validation. Bachelor’s degree in EE is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related field) required.
• Experience with high-density board design and system integration.
• Hands-on lab skills and rapid prototyping ability.
• Ability to drive projects amid ambiguity and multiple paths.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level electrical measurements across power rails, regulators, batteries, charging paths, and load behavior.
• Conduct lab debugging with oscilloscopes, meters, DMMs, logic analyzers.
• Review PCB layouts, schematics, and designs; flag errors and suggest improvements.
• Review and approve prototypes, working models, or simulations.
• Write functional specs, test procedures, and design tradeoff documentation.
• Support NPI and manufacturing validation efforts.
• Direct technicians and engineering staff as needed.
