Actalent in Piscataway, NJ, seeks an experienced power electronics engineer to lead design and qualification activities for new power conversion products. You will drive DFX, RCCA, and sustaining effort while mentoring junior engineers and shaping engineering processes.

The role involves end-to-end project ownership, technical content development for proposals, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams in a contract‑to‑hire setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 6+ years of power electronic design experience.
• Experience with schematic design.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and detailed design of power conversion products.
• Approve qualification test plans and reports, oversee DFx into designs.
• Own RCCA for test failures and field returns with structured analysis.
• Develop and improve engineering processes, standards, and procedures.
• Manage sustaining engineering work and derivative design activities.
• Lead select projects end-to-end and communicate with stakeholders.
• Develop technical content for proposals and RFP responses.
