Job summary
Macdillions Global Energy in Flemington, New Jersey area is seeking a Power Electronics Embedded Systems Engineer to join its engineering and R&D team. You will design and integrate high-performance control architectures for multi-kilowatt DC power supplies, from modeling control algorithms to implementing firmware and validating high-voltage hardware.
The role requires a BS in EE (MS preferred), 5+ years in switching-converter design, and hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, bare-metal C
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or related field; MS preferred.
- 5+ years in power electronics with switching-converter design.
- Proficient MATLAB/Simulink for control-loop modeling and auto-code generation.
- Bare-metal C on TI C2000 or similar 32-bit MCUs.
- Experience with Altium, PCB bring-up, SCPI and Python.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop control architectures for multi-kilowatt DC power supplies.
- Model and implement control algorithms and firmware.
- Perform HIL validation and laboratory debugging.
- Collaborate to ensure regulatory compliance (UL/IEC/CE).
- Support volume-production sustainment.
