Job summary

At Cindavi, we are seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to advance inverter technology for high-performance electric motors used in Formula 1, Formula E, and other demanding applications.

You will design high-density inverters, validate them in our in-house lab and on dynamometers, troubleshoot fielded units, mentor teammates, and collaborate with software, controls, mechanical, and electromagnetic engineers to deliver complete system solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in power electronics.
• 3–5 years relevant experience; 6–8+ years preferred for senior level.
• Hands-on experience designing inverter hardware, power stages, or high-power systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-power-density inverters and related power electronics for specialty electric motor systems.
• Own meaningful portions of power-stage and inverter hardware design, analysis, implementation, and improvement.
• Test and validate systems in our in-house lab using back-to-back motor dynamometers and advanced test infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot fielded units and support rapid iteration during dyno tests, track days, and customer programs.
• Partner closely with software, controls, mechanical, electromagnetic, and project engineering teammates to deliver complete system solutions.
• Help shape next-generation platforms while improving the reliability and performance of existing products.
