At Cindavi, we are seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to advance inverter technology for high-performance electric motors used in Formula 1, Formula E, and other demanding applications.
You will design high-density inverters, validate them in our in-house lab and on dynamometers, troubleshoot fielded units, mentor teammates, and collaborate with software, controls, mechanical, and electromagnetic engineers to deliver complete system solutions.
What if your next inverter design had to perform where every watt, gram, and millisecond could change the outcome of an F1 race?
We are hiring a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to help design and advance the inverter technology behind high-performance electric motors used in Formula 1, Formula E, and other demanding applications. This is an opportunity to solve complex engineering problems where power density, thermal performance, reliability, and response time all matter.
You will split your focus between developing our next generation of inverter systems and supporting proven technology already operating in the field. Your work will be highly visible, technically challenging, and connected to real-world performance in our lab, on dynamometers, and occasionally at customer sites.
Please note this position is located onsite in Minneapolis, MN.
You will join an experienced, collaborative team of approximately 8 to 10 engineers with access to advanced tools, direct mentorship, and a potential path toward broader systems engineering leadership. The anticipated base salary is $125,000 to $170,000, depending on experience and qualifications, and relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
