Job summary

Cindavi is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to advance inverter technology for high‑performance electric motors used in racing and demanding applications. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with emphasis in power electronics.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience; 6–8+ years for senior level.
• Hands‑on experience designing inverter hardware, power stages, traction inverters, motor drives, or high‑power systems.
• Knowledge of power converter topologies, gate‑drive design, motor control, high‑voltage systems, EMC, and thermal considerations.
• Willingness to work onsite in Eden Prairie and travel internationally for track, dyno, or customer support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-power-density inverters and related power electronics for specialty electric motor systems.
• Own meaningful portions of power-stage and inverter hardware design, analysis, implementation, and improvement.
• Test and validate systems in our in-house lab using back-to-back motor dynamometers and advanced test infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot fielded units and support rapid iteration during dyno tests, track days, and customer programs.
• Partner with software, controls, mechanical, electromagnetic, and project engineering teammates to deliver complete system solutions.
• Help shape next-generation platforms while improving the reliability and performance of existing products.
