Lunar Energy in Mountain View, CA seeks a senior Power Electronics Engineer to lead the design of high-density converters and power systems from concept to manufacture. You will collaborate across mechanical, thermal, reliability and firmware teams to deliver robust, efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5 years in power electronics
• Experience reducing losses in power conversion
• Experience designing high density converters with wide bandgap devices
• Ability to analyze and select topologies for a given application
• Sensor design to measure converter parameters in real time

Responsibilities

• Create products by contributing to features, design, and vision
• Design power electronic systems from 10W–10kW and select topologies
• Collaborate to create verification and validation test plans
• Bring up and testing of systems to validate functionality
• Work across mechanical, thermal, reliability, and firmware engineering
• Start-to-finish ownership of the power conversion system
