Job summary

Lunar Energy, Inc. in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the ATE contractor role to own electrical system development from concept to manufacturability.

You will design power electronics, work with analog/mixed-signal circuits, and collaborate across mechanical, thermal, reliability, and firmware teams. The position focuses on home energy storage systems, with hands-on testing, system bring-up, and validating performance under high voltage and current conditions.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in power electronics design.
• Experience with battery management systems, inverters, and charging systems.
• Proficient with Altium Designer schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong lab skills with power conversion test equipment.
• Familiar with embedded controllers and microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical aspects from design to prototype, validation and manufacturing.
• Detail design of tester interface boards and power electronics subsystems.
• Bring up, test, and validate system performance and critical characteristics.
• Collaborate with ME, thermal, reliability, and firmware teams to optimize the product.
• Develop test cards and fixtures to validate PCBAs and complete system.
