Job summary
Lunar Energy is seeking Electronics Engineers to own the full product development lifecycle of power electronics for home energy storage systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to take concepts from design through prototype and manufacturing, testing and validating hardware across high‑voltage environments.
Strong hands‑on skills and collaboration are essential for delivering best‑in‑class energy solutions.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years in power electronics design.
- Experience with battery management, inverters and charge systems.
- Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Strong lab skills for power conversion testing with high voltage/current.
- Experience with high voltage, current and power environments.
- Prototyping, rework and soldering techniques.
- Experience with embedded control and programming of microcontrollers/PLDs.
- Expertise in analog, mixed-signal design and noise/grounding analysis.
Responsibilities
- Detail-design tester interface boards and PCBs for power electronics.
- Bring up, test, validate and optimize system performance.
- Develop test mechanisms for PCBs and full systems.
- Collaborate with ME, mechanical, thermal, reliability, and firmware teams.
- Own electrical aspects from design through prototype and manufacturing.
