ABB seeks a Power Delivery Field Engineer for the Central Midwest (Detroit, remote) to direct installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service on power delivery equipment. You will lead field projects, coordinate with customers and ABB teams, and ensure safety and quality in all activities.

The role requires strong technical, interpersonal, and project-management skills, with the ability to work across diverse sites and travel as needed in the US.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology, or a high school diploma with minimum 2 years related field experience.
• Minimum 2 years of field engineering experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Office suite; demonstrated technical aptitude.

Responsabilidades

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on electrical distribution equipment.
• Lead outages with field engineers, technicians, and contractors; manage project documentation and reporting.
• Plan and execute multifunctional field assignments; supervise work of other engineers and craft labor as required.
• Prepare technical reports, order materials, secure quotations, and maintain timely job status and expense reports.
• Maintain safety and compliance with ABB HSE and company policies during all field activities.
