ABB Inc. is seeking a Power Delivery Field Engineer in the Central Midwest (Detroit, remote) to lead installation, startup, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical distribution equipment.

You will mentor teams, plan field assignments, and coordinate safety, scheduling, and materials with customers and ABB service teams. The role requires up to 75% travel, the ability to work long hours across diverse environments, and strong collaboration with sales/service teams to identify service

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology or equivalent with experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision and strong business acumen.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on execution of projects including startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, engineering, design, and repair of Power Delivery equipment.
• Lead outages with field engineers and contractors, including project management and reporting.
• Plan and perform multifunctional field assignments, directing work of other engineers and craft labor.
• Develop technical knowledge and stay aligned with industry standards in engineering.
• Prepare training programs to impart field engineering knowledge.
