Based in Bozeman, MT, this role will travel to client meetings, conferences, and industry events to build strategic relationships with utilities, developers, and EPC partners. You will develop pursuit strategies, monitor market trends, and coordinate with estimating, operations, and executives to win high‑voltage transmission and substation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and 10+ years in BD/PM in power delivery.
• Established relationships with utilities, EPCs, developers, and industry stakeholders.
• Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and convert to pursuits.
• Willingness to travel extensively across North America.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic BD initiatives focused on power delivery across North America.
• Build and maintain relationships with utility clients, developers, engineering firms, EPCs.
• Identify upcoming transmission line, substation, renewable projects.
• Monitor market conditions and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations, and leadership to craft pursuit strategies.
• Support prequalification submissions, proposals, and interviews.
• Represent Barnard at conferences, industry events, and trade shows.
• Maintain pipelines, market intel, and client engagement via CRM.
