Job summary

Dynapower seeks a senior Power Converter Engineer to lead design, analysis, and validation of IGBT-based power converters for defense and mission-critical applications. You will own converter architecture, digital and analog controls, and magnetics design, ensuring MIL-spec compliance across environmental, electrical, and EMI/EMC domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience with MIL-spec environmental and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Hands-on hardware design and testing experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient with MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, PSIM, and SPICE for simulations.

Responsibilities

• Own converter architecture and control across defense applications.
• Lead design, analysis, and validation of IGBT-based power converters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to production.
• Ensure MIL-spec compliance across environmental, electrical, and EMI/EMC domains.
• Maintain documentation and design reports.
