Job summary

Mindscope is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead analog and power electronics development across the full product lifecycle. You will design, test, and validate DC-DC and AC-DC systems, working with DSP-based controls and MATLAB/Simulink in demanding environments such as aerospace and defense.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in analog circuit design, EMI/EMC mitigation, and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
7–10 years of relevant industry experience.
Strong analog circuit design and power electronics background.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium or similar).
Proficient with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test analog and power electronic circuits, including AC-DC and DC-DC conversion systems.
Troubleshoot hardware issues at the board and system level, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Support transition from prototype to production, including documentation, test procedures, and manufacturing support.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.
