Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Engineering Applications Support & Developer in Puerto Rico. Hybrid role enabling collaboration with engineering teams to maintain, enhance, and optimize electrical design tools in an aerospace environment.

You will develop automation, troubleshoot issues, and support deployments while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to improve workflows and tool capabilities.

Qualifications

• University degree with 8+ years, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• U.S. citizenship required to access information.
• 7 years in application support, development, or tool admin.
• Strong troubleshooting in technical/engineering settings.
• Hands-on with Siemens EDM/Xpedition tool suite.
• Scripting/automation with Python, PowerShell, VBScript.
• Understanding electrical/PCB design concepts for user support.
• Clear communication with technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for electrical design and analysis apps.
• Troubleshoot performance, configuration, workflows in engineering teams.
• Coordinate with users, internal teams, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
• Develop scripts, automation, integrations to extend tools.
• Translate requirements into functional technical solutions.
• Support testing, validation, deployment of updates and capabilities.
• Improve engineering workflows through process optimization.
