Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Sr. Staff Power Systems Engineer in Columbia, SC to deliver end-to-end power system solutions. You will work with customers, project developers, and managers to evaluate requirements, design robust controls, and ensure project success.

You will lead engineering work, create technical reports, and mentor teammates while developing cross-functional expertise in PCA offerings and power automation for 38 kV systems.

Qualifications

• BS EE or MS EE required with power systems focus.
• Minimum 5 years as an electrical engineer in power/controls.
• Experience with PLCs and HMI systems and protective relays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical reporting.
• Desire to grow with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Engineer power systems solutions directly with customers and teams.
• Develop proposals, technical reports, and deliverables.
• Mentor others and lead troubleshooting activities.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and studies.
