Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Power Systems Architect for Heavy Industries to guide customers toward reliable, sustainable power system solutions in North America. This role focuses on MV/LV distribution design, protection, power quality, and technology integration, with a strong emphasis on customer collaboration.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering or equivalent with 15+ years in electrical industry applications.
• 5+ years experience in electrical system design in heavy industries or industrial applications.
• 3+ years working in industrial or building applications.
• PE license preferred; PhD in Engineering preferred.
• Strong written, verbal and visual communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to develop technical materials to promote Schneider Electric solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design optimized MV/LV power system architectures for performance and competitiveness.
• Engage with customers to understand business challenges and tailor solutions.
• Provide guidance on power system design, protection, power quality, and power conversion.
• Identify opportunities to enhance Schneider Electric's product portfolio.
• Contribute to next‑generation electrical distribution architectures and technologies.
• Partner with customers, consultants, and partners on complex technical challenges.
• Develop thought leadership content, white papers, webinars, and workshops.
• Deliver technical training and support to sales, tendering and engineering teams.
