Alsym Energy Inc. is seeking a Principal Process Development Engineer to spearhead the scale-up of active materials powders from lab to pilot and toward volume manufacturing.

This hands-on leader will mature powder production processes, working with scientists and engineers to meet stringent performance requirements in a rapidly growing energy storage company. The role covers strategy for particle engineering, process optimization, and successful technology transfer to pilot facilities, with

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of industry experience with inorganic powders.
• Demonstrated track record scaling powder synthesis from precursor to final product from lab to full-scale production.
• Proven ability to lead powder and particle scale-up end-to-end, including equipment selection and technology transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and scale-up of particle engineering processes from lab to pilot to manufacturing.
• Coordinate with R&D and external manufacturers for process development and technology transfer.
• Establish control plans and QA programs; drive root-cause and FMEA-driven troubleshooting across teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and scientists; contribute to long-term scale-up roadmap.
