Job summary

AT Process Technologies is seeking a chemical engineer to lead piloting and scale-up of its energetics manufacturing facilities in Massachusetts. The role centers on managing the critical process, designing experiments, and delivering reliable data for scale-up while interfacing with vendors, contractors, and the supply chain.

You will perform material and energy balances, P&ID reviews, and contribute to equipment procurement and safety analyses.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional chemical engineering experience from pilot to production scale.
• Proficient in reaction engineering, simulation, and P&ID review.
• Basic analytical chemistry experience with NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute pilot plant experiments for reaction and unit-operation scale-up.
• Review material and energy balances and P&ID drawings for cost modeling and vendor communication.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineering on hardware design for pilot operations.
• Lead procurement and safety analyses (HAZOP) and develop SOPs.
