Job summary

Aurorium, a global materials innovation partner, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to advance process development from lab to full-scale production at locations including Texas. You will design and optimize chemical processes, collaborating with multi-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes applying fundamental engineering to create cost-efficient designs, develop scale-up models, and support new product introductions while upholding safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years in engineering design or manufacturing of chemical/pharma products.
• Specialized expertise preferred in organic chemistry, separations, kinetics, crystallization, or heat and mass transfer.
• Experience with process design and development, including PFDs and P&ID.
• Experience with Aspen modeling and DCS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines and leads process design projects for new or expanded processes.
• Leads plant process improvement projects and new product introductions.
• Incorporates cost elements into design objectives for commercial and technical success.
• Develops engineering models to improve scale-up and operation of Aurorium technologies.
• Delivers new chemical process designs from concept to commercial scale production.
