Job summary

Big Slate Media in Knoxville, TN seeks a Post Producer to lead post- production across multiple projects. You will guide editors, supervise pipelines, and maintain quality from rough cut to final deliverables.

You will coordinate with producers, directors, and clients, owning the finishing stage and ensuring on-time, high-quality outputs. A strong editorial range and hands-on coaching are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of professional editing experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or other industry tools.
• Color grading experience with consistent grading across a project.
• Sound editing and mixing skills for post-production finishing.
• Advanced understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud, Mac OS, and Google Drive.
• Experience using AI tools to streamline creativity while maintaining quality.
• Experience managing post-production timelines across multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication; client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality video content for campaigns, social, websites, and presentations.
• Shape narratives by pacing, structure, and emotional moments to serve the story.
• Create and integrate motion graphics, titles, transitions, overlays, and subtitles.
• Collaborate with editors, producers, directors, and clients to refine cuts.
• Own finishing stage on priority projects end-to-end to meet quality standards.
• Coach editors and develop institutional taste through reviews and feedback.
• Maintain and improve post-production SOPs and workflows.
• Be available for on-set or on-set support when needed.
