Job summary

Advanced Systems Group LLC seeks a Post Producer to support post-production operations for client teams, bridging editorial development and post coordination from brief to delivery. You will oversee video development, shaping story, pacing, and delivery while maintaining organized, on-schedule workflows.

Responsibilities include building post schedules, coordinating with editors and vendors, and ensuring narrative cohesion.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in post-production, post coordination, assistant editing, editing, post producing, or related roles.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent video projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Hands-on experience coordinating with editors, vendors, and post houses on deliverables.
• Ability to balance organizational logistics with creative/storytelling aspects.
• Experience in studio, agency, network, production company, or in-house brand post environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage post schedules across active projects, adjusting for priorities and delivery needs.
• Consult on staffing plans, timing assumptions, and bandwidth for realistic delivery paths and risks.
• Develop videos editorially from transcripts to final delivery in collaboration with editors and producers.
• Create treatments, paper edits, scripts, and editorial frameworks to ensure narrative cohesion.
• Guide editors through first assembly, notes, revisions, finishing, and handoff.
• Bridge creative intent and post execution with colorists, sound designers, motion graphics, and editors.
• Triage smaller post requests within the Creative Services pipeline and route work efficiently.
• Coordinate vendor outreach, holds, bookings, and day-to-day communications for post resources.
• Support post meetings (kickoffs, reviews, locks, color sessions) and track next steps.
• Maintain tracking in Jira and project tools for statuses, milestones, and delivery records.
• Coordinate file handoffs and archival documentation with production and internal stakeholders.
• Assist ingest, media organization, and archival workflows as needed.
