7-Eleven is seeking an experienced Store Systems Engineering Manager to lead the software engineering strategy for POS and related store technology platforms in a high-volume retail environment. The role requires strong people leadership, deep POS/transaction-processing experience, cloud-native engineering, distributed systems, and modern software delivery practices.

Qualifications

12+ years software engineering experience with 5+ years in engineering leadership.
Strong experience with POS or transaction-processing software.
Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
Experience in modern software delivery practices and QA automation.

Responsibilities

Lead software engineering teams delivering POS software and Store Systems across the full product lifecycle.
Define and execute the engineering roadmap for POS applications and services.
Establish architecture for secure, reliable, scalable POS software.
Drive agile practices, CI/CD, and DevOps to improve delivery and quality.
Partner with Product and Store Operations to translate store needs into technical plans.
