Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience in payments and retail domain is a plus.
• SAFe Agile experience across design through production.
• Hands-on development with Java, React, NoSQL, DynamoDB; REST APIs; Spring; JavaScript; DevOps CI/CD.
• Strong AWS Cloud experience: EC2, Fargate, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, Lambdas, Auto Scaling, S3, Kinesis.
• Enterprise architecture, microservices and event-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple scrum teams of engineers to design, develop, and deliver engineering solutions.
• Provide direction, documentation, and guidance on projects, including offshore resources.
• Hands-on coding, define product backlog and deliver customer-first, scalable services.
• Mentor on technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering standards.
• Define roadmaps, architecture strategy and perform design reviews with stakeholders.
