Job summary

Macy's in Mason, OH is seeking a Manager, Point of Sale Operations to lead cross-functional teams and optimize checkout experiences, aligning stores, tech, MCCS and marketing around POS priorities.

You will build a knowledge base, guide product and tech priorities, manage risks, train end users, and stay current with POS innovations to drive seamless customer and colleague interactions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in POS operations or retail technology.
• POS hardware and software systems experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to identify opportunities for simplification and improvements that enhance store efficiency and checkout experience.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive POS/Checkout knowledge library, ensuring adoption and ongoing process enhancements.
• Provide guidance to Product and Tech on priorities, POS requirements, and dependencies on supporting applications.
• Conduct collaborative testing of new features and processes across stakeholder groups, prioritizing scalability feedback.
