Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Manager, Business Administration to lead essential store operations and administrative functions. The role focuses on interviewing, hiring, staffing, and scheduling to ensure smooth store performance alongside budgets and cash office duties.

You will collaborate with Store Manager and Leaders to improve store outcomes, manage staffing levels, and drive profitability while maintaining a positive shopping environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership to manage essential activities and staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Proficiency in managing operational activities, P&L oversight, and driving profitability.
• Experience in leading hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies to reduce turnover.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager and Store Leaders to drive Store Scorecard results, focusing on hiring, retention, operations, and the shopping environment.
• Maintain profit through effective staffing, weekend compliance and controllable expenses.
• Lead in-store experience of the hiring process, including candidate communication, interviewing, selecting top talent, and coaching peers in hiring.
