Job summary

SpotOn in the United States is seeking an Installation Specialist to ensure restaurant sites are ready for successful POS deployments, including virtual site surveys, on-site readiness checks, and installation execution.

You will travel regularly to client sites, install and configure POS hardware, train staff, implement updates, and troubleshoot complex network issues, collaborating with Project Managers, Technicians, and Engineering to drive efficiency and client success.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of restaurant and/or technical support experience
• Experience in fintech or SaaS environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual site surveys for restaurant sites and validate readiness of wiring, electrical, networking and internet performance.
• Install and configure POS hardware, perform cabling and connectivity setup, and deliver staff training.
• Lead QA to ensure adherence to SOPs and SLAs, and document outcomes in internal systems.
• Travel regularly to client sites to ensure successful installations and client adoption.
