Job summary

SpotOn is seeking an Installation Specialist to prepare restaurant sites for successful POS installations through virtual assessments and on-site readiness checks. The role includes performing site surveys, installing POS hardware virtually or onsite, and delivering staff training.

It acts as a technical escalation point and mentors junior staff while driving installation efficiency. Travel to client sites is required; you will collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of restaurant and/or technical support experience.
• Experience in fintech or SaaS environments preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• An Associate degree in IT/ Networking or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual site surveys to validate wiring, electrical, networking and internet performance.
• Install and configure POS hardware and complete cabling and connectivity setup.
• Deliver onsite training and live staff support; configure menu/system reporting.
• Lead post-install follow-ups and ensure smooth transitions for clients.
