Citizens is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager II in Middle Market Corporate Banking to manage credit underwriting, monitoring, and portfolio management of complex loans and client relationships. The role emphasizes risk controls, financial analysis, and adherence to policy while delivering efficient processes.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers and cross-functional teams, applying expert credit knowledge and advanced financial modeling.

Qualifications

• 8+ years underwriting and portfolio management experience in a regional commercial bank or larger institution.
• Middle Market or Mid-Corporate experience in C&I.
• Bachelor's degree required and formal credit training.
• 4 days a week in office minimum.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of the most complex credits with limited supervision.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of clients/credits in interactions with peers and senior managers.
• Underwrite credit and administer risk with emphasis on policy, financial analysis, risk evaluation, and portfolio maintenance.
• Structure, underwrite, and document new credit opportunities, renewals, and modifications within a first line of defense.
