Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking a Senior Portfolio Finance Manager to oversee the financial management of a portfolio of large projects in the Americas. You will work with project managers to ensure performance against budget, maintain estimates, and ensure compliance with revenue recognition and contract terms.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in project finance within the energy sector, strong experience with SAP/Unifier Primavera, and advanced MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 8-10 years of financially managing large projects, preferably in energy.
• Advanced understanding of project accounting methods including POC revenue recognition.
• Experience with SAP, Unifier Primavera or similar systems.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• MBA or CPA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be financially responsible for a portfolio of the largest and most complex projects within the Americas region.
• Provide timely transparency around project performance against budget and maintain monthly Estimates at Completion for Revenue, Cost, and Margin.
• Ensure adherence to accounting guidelines, including revenue recognition conclusions.
• Ensure adherence to commercial terms and conditions and highlight associated risks.
• Track, evaluate and mitigate contract penalties such as performance guarantees and liquidated damages for delays.
• Review, verify and process project related transactions (purchase requisitions, invoices, etc.).
