Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Senior Portfolio Finance Manager to oversee a portfolio of large projects across the Americas. You will manage accounting controls, revenue recognition, and contract administration while collaborating with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and strong financial outcomes.

The role requires 8–10 years in project finance for energy projects, advanced contractual knowledge, and experience with SAP, Unifier, or Primavera.

Qualifications

8-10 years of financially managing large projects, preferably in energy, including EPC and contracts.
Advanced understanding of project accounting methods and POC revenue recognition.
Advanced knowledge of project lifecycle and commercial contract terms.
Experience negotiating with customers and suppliers.
Proficiency in SAP, Unifier Primavera or similar systems.

Responsibilities

Be financially responsible for a portfolio of large projects in the Americas region.
Provide timely transparency around project performance against budget and monthly Estimates at Completion for Revenue, Cost, and Margin.
Ensure adherence to accounting guidelines and commercial terms; identify risks.
Manage change orders and supplier claims to improve project performance.
Track project transactions and mitigate penalties like liquidated damages.
