Job summary

Entergy New Orleans seeks a Manager Portfolio Management to lead the stage gate process for distribution line and substation projects, ensuring cost, scope, and schedule certainty. You will oversee a portfolio of multi-discipline activities and provide independent reviews to meet delivery standards while maintaining transparency with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years project management and/or construction experience in utility or industrial setting. Supervisory experience preferred.
• Preferred: Project Management Professional Certification OR Construction Management Professional Certification

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and oversight of the stage gate process for distribution line and substation project management & construction for a portfolio of projects delivering cost, scope, & schedule certainty.
• Provide leadership and direction to ensure assigned project portfolio is executed in accordance with company, business unit, and work group practices, processes, procedures, and policies.
• Facilitate, establish and maintain an independent project review process to ensure projects meet stage gate standards.
• Manage portfolio status reporting and interface with management of all stakeholders to achieve intended results.
• Provide leadership in developing distribution project delivery standards and train project managers to apply them.
• Deliver regular portfolio reporting on projects reviewed for funding approval and monitor projects from overspend risk.
