Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead cost, schedule and risk deliverables for large power projects in the development phase. You will align with Entergy's stage gate process and implement project controls tools to ensure reliable estimates.

This role collaborates with project teams, mentors Project Controls Specialists and Cost Analysts, and supports process enhancements. Hybrid work between The Woodlands, TX and New Orleans, LA with up to 25% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5-10 years capital project management or project controls on large capital projects.
• Utility capital project experience preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in scheduling, cost control, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the project manager to identify and document project risks in a risk register and supports mitigation plan development.
• Applies fundamental schedule and cost control techniques across disciplines.
• Develops and maintains project schedules, plans, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Provides analysis of contractor schedule data to identify key project issues.
• Supports project leadership to ensure the quality of cost, schedule and risk management processes.
• Work is performed in both an office setting and in field conditions.
