Job summary

Entergy in Louisiana seeks a Senior Manager - Capital Projects to oversee large scale capital programs, typically >$250M, with EPC contractor engagement, cost and schedule certainty, and rigorous risk and change control.

You will lead project teams, ensure safety, quality, and compliance with Entergy's Stage Gate Process, coordinate with multiple functions, report status to executives, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Preferred advanced degree.

Responsibilities

Promotes safe behavior and adherence to safety rules on the project and leads the team to establish safety indicators.
Defines project organization, assigns skilled individuals, prepares contracts and approves requisitions; acts as Contract Manager.
Leads the team to develop and execute the project per corporate standards; adheres to Entergy Stage Gate Process.
Provides timely, accurate project status reports and presents to management; resolves issues escalated to leadership.
Coordinates with functional departments to meet budget, schedule and contractual requirements.
