Job summary

Nordic Global seeks a Senior Application Analyst for Population Health to deliver expert-level support for clinical and business applications across the Managed Services division. You will engage in incident response, upgrades, and architecture design, while mentoring peers and maintaining robust documentation.

Required 8+ years in healthcare IT with strong EHR and workflow knowledge; on-call travel may be required to support critical applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or Healthcare Informatics or 11+ years of industry experience.
8+ years’ experience in healthcare IT or equivalent IT application analyst position.
Extensive Healthy Planet and Compass Rose experience.
Experience with Epic’s VBPM platform is a plus.
Strong technical and build skills.
Experience in ITIL-aligned service management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SLA).
Experience in application support and documentation management.
Deep understanding of healthcare information systems and EHRs.

Responsibilities

Respond to application support requests and incidents within defined SLAs.
Manage application and team documentation for accuracy and relevancy.
Maintain relationships with software vendors and plan upgrades/patches.
Lead analyst-led projects and coordinate meetings, status updates and minutes.
Architect and design integrated workflows across applications and service areas.
Mentor other analysts and share best practices.
Develop architecture documentation, system diagrams, and DR/ security run-books.
Oversee full application lifecycle from implementation to decommissioning.
