About the Role
Prestige Wellness Group is seeking an experienced Senior Pool Project Manager & Estimator to support the growth of our Aquatics Division. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in commercial and high-end residential swimming pools, hydrotherapy pools, vitality pools, hot and cold pools, and related aquatic systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading estimating efforts, coordinating project execution, supporting technical planning activities, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully from concept through commissioning.
What You'll Do
- Review architectural, MEP, structural, and pool consultant drawings and specifications.
- Develop preliminary pool system concepts based on project requirements and applicable codes.
- Prepare detailed project estimates covering equipment, materials, labor, freight, installation, and commissioning.
- Develop equipment schedules and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Size and select pumps, filtration systems, water treatment systems, heating systems, controls, and related equipment.
- Prepare conceptual budgets and detailed construction estimates.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, and potential cost risks.
Technical Planning
- Coordinate pool mechanical systems with architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Review equipment room layouts, hydraulic requirements, piping routes, and service clearances.
- Support value engineering and alternative system evaluations.
- Assist with shop drawings, technical submittals, equipment schedules, and specifications.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable codes, health department requirements, and industry standards.
Project Management
- Manage pool projects from contract award through completion.
- Establish project schedules, procurement milestones, and installation sequencing.
- Coordinate equipment procurement, logistics, and site installation activities.
- Manage subcontractors, installers, and vendors.
- Participate in meetings with owners, architects, consultants, and general contractors.
- Track project costs against budget and identify potential overruns early.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, revisions, change orders, and project closeout documentation.
- Coordinate startup, testing, commissioning, and client training.
Process Improvement & Technical Support
- Assist in developing estimating templates and cost databases.
- Support the creation of standard equipment packages and specifications.
- Help maintain vendor and supplier relationships.
- Provide technical support during project planning and sales discussions.
- Contribute to process improvements across estimating, procurement, and project delivery.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in swimming pool construction, aquatic systems, estimating, or project management.
- Experience estimating and managing commercial or high-end residential pool projects.
- Strong knowledge of pool hydraulics, circulation, filtration, water treatment, heating systems, and controls.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and construction drawings.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
- Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and installation teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to project budgets.
Preferred:
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with hospitality, luxury residential, wellness, spa, or commercial aquatic projects.
- Knowledge of hydrotherapy pools, vitality pools, whirlpools, cold plunges, and related wellness systems.
- Experience with luxury hotels, resorts, spas, private clubs, or high-end residential developments.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, estimating software, and project management systems.
