Job summary

MC&R Pools, INC. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead on-site teams across municipal, commercial, and residential pool projects in Sioux Falls.

You will oversee all phases from planning through completion, conduct quality inspections, and ensure safety and adherence to specifications and codes. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in construction, can read blueprints, manage schedules, and coordinate crews and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction related field.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints and drawings to determine project requirements and planning phases.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• A valid Driver's License is required, and a CDL is highly preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) communication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all phases of swimming pool construction and renovation projects for municipal, commercial, and residential clients, ensuring projects move smoothly from initial planning through final completion.
• Monitor project progress on an ongoing basis, adjusting schedules, resources, and priorities as needed to keep work on track, maintain efficiency, and deliver a high-quality finished product.
• Serve as the primary on-site leader, providing direction, support, and problem-solving while maintaining a strong field presence and addressing issues before they impact quality, timelines, or costs.
• Regularly inspect completed and ongoing work to ensure it meets project specifications, applicable codes, and company standards for workmanship and quality.
• Supervise, coordinate, and support construction crews and subcontractors across multiple job sites, fostering a productive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to understand project requirements, plan work effectively, and ensure construction activities are completed in the proper sequence.
• Build positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders through clear communication, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and attention to detail, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Do:

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of new pool construction and renovation projects for municipal, commercial, and residential clients. This role provides on-site leadership, directing employees and subcontractors while managing multiple projects to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. What Makes You the Ideal Candidate:

• Must be able to perform the primary duties of the position, with or without accommodations.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks consistent with a construction environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction related field.
• Proficiency in masonry and concrete work, general plumbing, and general electrical are preferred.
