Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of progressively responsible policy experience.
• Experience drafting, revising, or analyzing formal organizational policies, regulations, or standards.
• Valid Driver’s License (Texas upon hire).
• Professional writing sample required from candidates selected for interview.

Responsibilities

• Directs research, drafting, and revision of complex, high-impact policies and general orders.
• Interviews and consults with executives, counsel, leadership, and staff to obtain information for policy development.
• Translates legal, regulatory, and operational information into clear policy language.
• Establishes policy frameworks, definitions, responsibilities, and procedural requirements.
• Leads policy development cycles and coordinates with Legal Counsel on legal considerations.
