Qualifications

• JD or DR degree from an accredited law school required.
• Must have completed all requirements for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regional staff and subject‑matter specialists to ensure consistent application of statutes, regulations, and agency policies.
• Provide expert legal guidance to agency leadership on complex, high‑impact decisions.
• Interpret and apply state and federal laws to support sound, compliant local‑level decision‑making.
• Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and agreements for accuracy and risk mitigation.
• Develop and deliver training to staff on legal requirements, policy updates, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve disputes and address emerging legal issues.
