Job summary

The Office of Disability Employment Policy seeks a Supervisory Policy Advisor to lead cross-functional disability employment policy efforts and synthesize inputs across organizational areas to create integrated policy solutions.

You will supervise a formal policy team, coordinate with senior agency officials to develop nationwide policies and programs that promote employment for people with disabilities, and represent the office in interagency and Congress engagements.

Qualifications

• GS-15 level requires 52 weeks of specialized experience at GS-14 level or equivalent.
• Specialized experience includes leading teams, advising on disability employment policy, and synthesizing inputs from multiple functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and manage a formal disability employment policy team.
• Develop nationwide policies, plans, and programs to promote employment for people with disabilities.
• Represent the Office in interagency engagements, with Congress, and key stakeholders.
